My Monday Musing ~ My Dad Was An April Fool ~ Revisited

And not for nothin’ but my dad was the guy who showed up when I dislocated my knee, sprained my ankle, sliced my hand open on a broken jar, fractured my wrist – and oh year, cracked up more than one car. He was the guy who knew exactly what to do when I was in a pickle – which happened more than once.

Yep. I’m still looking for the picture of when he came to the Pottersfield party at Nancy’s courtyard.

What a lovely remembrance, Tulis! I smiled all the way through. Loved his comment to the ex-boyfriend in the Green Room. Served him right!

Yeah, and the ex-boyfriend was so stupid. He thought it was a joke and came and told me all about how funny my father was.

Tulis! I wish I could have met your awesome dad! This brought tears of love for him and all father’s who show up quietly for their family. And yes ” What part did you play?” Went over the head of the ex but you got and Dad was doing it for you. Fabulous!

He was a trip. I feel like I’m getting to know him better even though he’s been gone for almost 30 years. Glad you liked it.

Thanks for making a comment. I appreciate it. And now I don’t think we ever knew about our parents shared birthdays. What a coincidence.
