My Monday Musing ~ “I Didn’t Know” ~ A Brief Review

I didn’t know how young my parents were. I didn’t know how little they knew because they were so young. I didn’t know that they were winging it. I didn’t know that they didn’t have a plan or a treasure chest of facts and knowledge and certainty. I didn’t know that every day they woke up in a house with five kids all going in different directions.

Beautifully done, Tulis. Each of your examples brought back waves of memories , understanding, and guilt. Thank you for your talents and the generous way you share them with we lesser beings.

It was a very intimate creation. I think it may be at the doorway to a new show.

I agree with Michael. So many memories of my childhood, my children’s childhood and now my grandson’s world. What should we be sharing with him to broaden his world view? What would my children say they didn’t know? This would make an intriguing and thought provoking show Tulis!

The imagery you provided captures a novel in a moment. Your father resting his elbows on the steering wheel and releasing a sigh; your mom ironing your Father’s PJ’s while discussing the birds & bees with you. And so much more. Lovely!
