My Father Was An April Fool ~ Monday April 3, 2023
My Father was born on April Fools Day. Our relationship was rocky. Dad wanted things his way because he was the father. I know this because he told me. I wanted things my way because I was the daughter. He knew that because I told him. We drew our lines in the sand, and we waited for the other to blink. For me it was very simple. My father was usually wrong, and I was right.
Tulis, There is kindness in the world that often hides. Your gift is that you are able to recognize it. Thank you for sharing your musing and your kindness.
I’m always reminding myself to look a little harder.
This definitely sounds like ..
Stop and smell the roses!
And, might I give shout out for the west side that is brimming with acts of kindness!!
Thanks for Monday Musings !!
Woohoo! It worker
I need to remember that rushing is the enemy of kindness. Thanks for reminding me with your lovely musing.
It takes ages to learn that.
… LOVED this musing… and your resistance / reluctance to ultimately embrace the lesson, in that moment!!!

I absolutely love this essay. I felt hopeful after I took the time to hear it. Time well, and wonderfully, spent.
Anytime I can lift your spirits is a good time for me.
