My Father Was An April Fool ~ Monday April 3, 2023
My Father was born on April Fools Day. Our relationship was rocky. Dad wanted things his way because he was the father. I know this because he told me. I wanted things my way because I was the daughter. He knew that because I told him. We drew our lines in the sand, and we waited for the other to blink. For me it was very simple. My father was usually wrong, and I was right.
Tulis McCall has a fresh voice and an unflinching eye. She isn’t afraid to call out racism when she sees it – even in the arts. Bravo!!
Thanks my friend.
Thank you, Tulis. You are always bringing to our attention what the world would like to ignore. You are a blessing in my life.
Thanks so much!
WOW
Merci yoo.
A perfect blend of good writing, humor, somberness, political awareness and speaking for us lovers of the arts, who have been thinking about How Stupid Are We?
High praise.
Tulis! Tulis!! Tulis!!! Your unparalleled passion and brilliance inspires everyone who comes in contact with you. I know how much it has inspired me. We need to find more and bigger platforms to spread your voice!! I sooo adore you!!
Well you just made my morning! Bring on those platforms, yes, indeedy.
Love your cynicism. I am betting you are right.
